Frequently asked questions regarding the Center for Architecture's Youth programs.
Q: Can I get a refund?
A: Tuition for any program is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please see our Terms & Conditions.
Q: When do Summer@theCenter programs sell out?
A: This varies course to course but typically programs do not sell out until the end of April/Early May.
Q: How do I apply for a scholarship?
A: When you are applying for a scholarship you only need to register as a Scholarship Applicant, (do not select both the Registrant and Scholarship Applicant options). You will then fill out all the required information, (if you are being asked to provide credit card information you have selected the incorrect registration type) this will reserve your child’s spot in the course. You will then need to download the Scholarship Application, fill this out and return it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once the award amount is determined you will be notified and payment of the remaining balance will be due at that time.
Scholarship Application: AfterSchool@theCenter
Scholarship Application: Studio@theCenter
Scholarship Application: Summer@theCenter
Q: How much of the tuition does a scholarship cover?
A: This varies based on the scholarship applicants requested amount. If you are requesting a full scholarship, we still typically ask that the applicant pay at least $50 (for Studio@theCenter and AfterSchool@theCenter) or $100 for (Summer@theCenter).
Q: Is there flexibility in the age grouping for your programs? For example, can I register my child who is currently in 2nd grade for a program for students in grades 3 – 5?
A: Unfortunately no. Your child is only eligible to register for a course based on their current grade (Studio@theCenter, AfterSchool@theCenter) or based off of the grade they will be entering in the Fall (Summer@theCenter).
